(DE) Stimmwercktage – Stimmwerck Days Festival (Aug. 7-9, 2009)
“At very few places do music and architecture join as closely together as at the Stimmwerck Tage, near to Regensburg.
In the August of each year, in seclusion from the hustle and bustle of the city, listeners dip into the atmosphere of early vocal music in the venerable abbey church.
In 2009, Leonhard Paminger (1495 – 1567) takes center stage in the Stimmwerck Days Festival. In close cooperation with the Musicology Institute (Institut für Musikwissenschaft) of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich , a cross-section of his work will be brought to auditory life on the Adlersberg.
After the events of the day are over, the artists look forward to a friendly communal drink in the cloister tavern next door.“
