“ The Early Music Association of NSW (EMA) was founded in 1977.
Its members comprise professional and amateur musicians, instrument makers, teachers, students and concert-goers.
The EMA aims to promote interest in all forms of Western music composed before the nineteenth century through two primary means. It encourages the study and performance of early music using authentic instruments, principles and interpretation. It also promotes research into and the editing of early music.“
