Toronto, July 3, 2012 … Under the artistic leadership of David Fallis, the Toronto Consort celebrates its 40th anniversary season in 2012-13 with a line-up of outstanding period music programs. To mark this milestone, the Toronto Consort will bring Janet Cardiff’s award-winning sound installation FORTY-PART MOTET to Scotiabank Nuit Blanche in September 2012. The ensemble will also release two albums on the Marquis label: a new recording of its popular program, A Spanish Christmas, and Never love thee more, a two-CD anthology of Renaissance music.
