Join us in "the Land of Enchantment" for stimulating musical experiences, including the American premiere of Stephen Dodgson's Carillon Concertante (2 harpsichords and strings), the world premiere of Glenn Spring's harpsichord work based o­n photographs of Georgia O'Keeffe, Paul Wolfe's reminiscences of lessons with Wanda Landowska, and Linda Raney's look at some special organ repertoire.
Class meetings at First Presbyterian Church (with a chance to see their new three-manual Fisk organ, opus 133 [2008]) and in two private home music rooms, each featuring a two-manual harpsichord by Richard Kingston.

Morning: Lecture/Demonstration classes. Afternoon: Playing and Discussion.
Faculty Concert at First Presbyterian Church (Monday, 6:00 p.m.) followed by Reception. Gala closing dinner at the Mize home (Tesuque), Friday evening.
Group lunches provided (Tuesday-Friday).

Repertoire includes selected Bach works, Duphly's Pièces de Claveçin 3ème Livre, and Distler: 30 Spielstücke for Keyboard Instruments. Each student should prepare o­ne work from the suggested repertoire to play in class. o­n-site practice times will be limited. We hope that all participants will use their evenings to take advantage of Santa Fe's rich musical offerings, both at the Santa Fe Opera www.santafeopera.org and Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival www.sfcmf.org.
