Early Music Concerts 2010-2011: (US) Four Nations 25th Anniversary Concert June 15th - Return to Friends Meeting House

“Join the Four Nations Ensemble for a 25th Anniversary Celebration
Wednesday, June 15th at 730-Friend's Meeting House

Don't miss a joyful, romantic, nostalgic and celebratory performance at the historic Friend's Meeting House on 15th street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue.

Four Nations, with a return appearance of violinist Ryan Brown, recreates two featured works from the first New York City concert given by the Ensemble over two decades ago. The program includes:
  • A cello concerto in G - Antonio Vivaldi
  • A Lament - Heinrich Schmelzer
  • Concerto Comique: Les Sauvages - Michel Corrette
  • Serenata of Braga and Plaisir d'Amour - Martini (Honoring Krista and John Feeney's 25th wedding anniversary on the same night.)
  • An Andante - Michael Haydn (Brown, O'Sullivan and Appel-the original Four Nations Ensemble)
  • Brandenburg V - Johann Sebastian Bach
