"Early Music classes and projects are open to students from every department. In keeping with international trends, we define Early Music studies as making music with an understanding of history. We therefore also study performance practice of the post-Baroque. It is our aim to train both Early Music specialists aware of later styles and classical and modern musicians with insight into earlier styles."
