“Stefano Bet was born in Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy) in 1960. Since many years he has devoted his career to the study of original early instruments and the historical performance of the repertory for flute (Renaissance, Baroque, Classic). He is self-taught relative to historic instruments, studied with Barthold Kuijken at the Academie Internationale of Antwerp, Sigiswald Kuijken at Centro di Musica Antica of Rome, Nikolaus Harnoncourt at the Salzburg Mozarteum. Finalist at the Utrecht International Early Music Competition, today he is one of the most famous italian early flute player.
