“Flautando Köln was founded in 1990. We, Katharina Hess, Susanne Hochscheid, Ursula Thelen und Kerstin de Witt, received our artistic education a.o. in Amsterdam, Hamburg and Cologne and passed our respective examinations with distinction.
Since our founding, Flautando Köln performs nationally and internationally and we have also produced several recordings for national radio (i.e. WDR, SWF, Radio Bremen, DLF, Saarländischer Rundfunk).
With our broad musical repertoire from middle age to modern music and our interesting range of instruments and musical programmes, Flautando Köln are regular participants at well known festivals across Europe, like a.o. Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Times of Ancient Music Festival in Berlin and Herne, Music Festival Dresden, International Music Exhibition in London, Music Festival Middle-Europe in the Czech Republic, Festival Tirana Autumn in Albania, Festival of Ancient Music in Switzerland and at the Porto Series in Portugal.. .“ Visit website for more information.
