“The American Nyckelharpa Association is a non-profit corporation for the preservation and fostering of the nyckelharpa (sometimes called the Swedish Key Fiddle). We will conduct educational programs and activities to promote knowledge of and interest in the nyckelharpa and the traditional music of the nyckelharpa. We shall endeavor to provide competent instruction in playing the nyckelharpa, in the traditional music, and in the traditional dance associated with the music.“
