“Medieval music, Renaissance and Baroque, known as early music, has acquired in recent decades increasingly important. This festival began in 2006 as an idea of the composer Otto Castro. Originally took place every two years, but due to the enthusiasm of the crowd then decided to hold annual events that take place in the first half of each year. From the 2008 it was decided to accept only groups that use old-style instrument. The festival has become a benchmark in the Caribbean area. The guests give lectures, master classes and concerts.
