Handel House will become a sound house with each room becoming an individual performance space to be experienced in a promenade-like fashion.

Stanley Sadie Memorial Lecture Christopher Hogwood CBE : Performing Handel
We are delighted to be able to welcome the celebrated conductor, musicologist and keyboard player Christopher Hogwood CBE, to deliver this year’s Stanley Sadie Memorial Lecture in the elegant library of the Royal Institution.

Composer-in-Residence season: juice
The experimental a cappella trio juice draw on world music, jazz, folk and pop in their alt-classical performances.

Saturday 20 November, 7.00pm     
Dangerous Liaisons–Forbidden Love Spirituoso and guests
Ensemble-in-Residence, Spirituoso will take the audience on a moving journey through elements of art in 18th century Europe .Exploring contrasting passions... love, lust, deception, grief and joy are enacted through music and movement, uniting two characters in a forbidden love. Spirituoso and guest artists on period instruments and baroque dance.

Handel’s Recorder Sonatas
Kohei Koike (recorder) and Nicholas Parle (harpsichord) perform Handel’s Complete Recorder Sonatas.

Sunday 28 November, 3-4pm     
Master and Apprentice
For the 300th anniversary of Thomas Arne’s birth the Burney Players will perform a concert of his music interspersed with reading from Charles Burney’s diaries.
