Laus Polyphoniae is o­ne of the most important European festivals in its genre. Since 1994 this early music event has taken place annually during the last weeks of August. Each edition brings into focus a certain repertoire or a certain composer. This music is then toroughly explored by internationally reputed musicians who form the ensemble in residence.In 2008 Laus Polyphoniae will focus o­n the musical repertoire of the Hanseatic League. The festival starts o­n August the 23rd. ... "
