Along with all vocal elements of Joel Suhubiette and surrounding the voice of María Cristina Kiehr,  the ensemble baroque instruments  lend service to the creation of the contemporary: A Passion as emblematic baroque, but for the first often expressed through Mary.

On Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 8 PM, members of The Queen's Chamber Band will gather at First Moravian Church for the opening concert of the 2011-2012 season and take their audience to European cities on a Musical Grand Tour.
  

(CA) Spiritus Ensemble "Bach Vespers for Thanksgiving" (2 Oct 2011)

“Spiritus Ensemble begins its third season of Bach Vespers with two cantatas chosen for the Thanksgiving season.  Cantata 192, 'Now thank we all our God' is one of Bach's shortest cantatas, three movements based on the well-known chorale melody.  It will be followed by Cantata 79, 'God the Lord is sun and shield', which begins with one of Bach's grandest choral movements, accompanied by brass, timpani, flutes, oboes, strings and organ.
