Füssen – Northern Italy and the Lute
Lute making in the Füssen-region and Northern Italy during the 15–18. Century, migration and interactions among lute makers.
The Deutsche Lautengesellschaft (German Lute Society) is holding a two day conference focusing on lute making in the Füssen area and the activity of German lute makers in Northern Italy (many of those lute makers originated from the Füssen-Region in Southern Germany).
FIMTE is celebrating the fifth centenary of the Birth of Antonio de Cabezón (1510-1566), starting in June 2010.
