“Since 2005, the ensemble holds an annual festival in early August named the “Stimmwercktage” (Stimmwerck Days) on the Adlersberg near Regensburg. There, using such modern technology as laptops and projectors in place of paper manuscripts, the works of a particular renaissance composer are the subject of German language lectures by musicologists and performances by Stimmwerck.
In previous years, works by the following composers were examined:
2008 Ludwig Senfl (1486-1542/43)
2007 Anonymus
2006 Leonhard Lechner (c.1553-1606)
2005 Jacob Obrecht (1457/1458 – late July, 1505)“

“The year was 1991, the venue, the church of Tourinne-la-Grosse, the harpsichordist, Davitt Moroney. The enthusiastic audience witnessed the first recital of what was to become a festival that has lost none of its momentum since.
Its purpose was to offer a meeting place for harpsichord players and lovers, and since then the festival has welcomed numerous musicians in the course of its history.
Its repertoire has evolved continuously, comprising masterworks, forgotten works, unpublished works ... Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier, Goldberg Variations, French suites, suites by Handel, sonatas by Scarlatti, Harpsichord works by Louis and François Couperin, by Marchand, Froberger, Draghi, Purcell ...
A spring festival held in some of the most beautiful venues in Brabant Walloon like the little Saint Pierre church of Upigny, the Chapel Marie la Misérable of Woluwé-St-Lambert, the church Saint Nicolas of la Hulpe, or even a castle somewhere in Hamme-Mille.
In the wake of the festival, there are also "The Harpsichord on Thursdays" and the "Espace Mikrokosmos", whose programs are a perfect foil for those of "Le Clavecin à Tourinnes". ..“

“The Froville priory, built in 1080, is one of the first settlements the benedictine monks of Cluny established in Lorraine. Its steeple dominates a small village, home of 120 inhabitants, midway between Nancy and Epinal.
The romanesque nave, inherited from the 11th century, is lengthened by a gothic choir and a magnificent cloister dating from the 13th century and of which several windows are exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of New York.
The nave's ceiling of Carolingian origin has been restored exactly according to historical and acoustic tradition. Therefore, the Froville church provides a prestigious arena for the mightiest voices during the festival of sacred and baroque music.
The Association of the friends Frovilles cultural patrimony has shown great dedication for animation and promotion this prestigious site since 1997 through especially organisation the festival of sacred and baroque music and the priory's 3D reconstitution project.
Its ambition is revealed in a fondatory text, "Odouin's choice".

“The Festival concerts are held in August and early September. These events offer the opportunity to hear historically informed performances of early music on either original instruments or copies. The antique beauty of the buildings in which they take place, a 12th-century church and the town's 17th-century church, enhance this experience. ..“
