"We are a group of dancers, "The Jane Austen Dancers" who meet at Bath Trinity Hall (map here) at Monmouth Place near Queens Square on Wednesday evenings. The class begins at 8 PM, and all are welcome no matter what experience they may have. We dance primarily for pleasure but engage in performance and also narrated demonstrations. Much research has been carried out on the Regency Period by members of the group and is continuing. A costume ball is given by the dancers annually. Our musical director Sue Law is without doubt unique and vastly experienced. We are also extremely fortunate in having Valerie Webster as director of dance. " Visit website for more information.
