"A chapter of the national organization, the American Recorder Society, the San Diego County Recorder Society (SDCRS) has been in existence since 1972. A membership organization, SDCRS supports the recreational playing and performance of recorders and other early music instruments.
SDCRS meets monthly to play ensemble music from medieval to 20th century with professional conductors. Our monthly chapter meetings are held in the afternoon on the third Saturday (usually) of the month from September through June.
Recorder players of all skill levels are invited to attend. All players are invited to attend at warm-up session from 1:00 p.m. to 1:50 p.m.; then all players will be instructed by our guest conductor from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. ... " Visit website for more information. (ed.)
