“London Early Opera is a new baroque ensemble whose members are leading exponents of early music and consist of a flexible number of singers, soloists and instrumentalists. The aim is to showcase treasures of the baroque era using a fine balance of instrumentalists and singers, which can be tailored to suit a particular space or venue. LEO links dramatic music and singing with narration and art history to create magical performances.
The group is directed by harpsichordist, conductor and early music specialist Bridget Cunningham and has performed to acclaim at Southwark Cathedral and in a programme for Advent at St Martin-in-the-Fields.
