" MusicSources was founded in 1986 by Laurette Goldberg, visionary harpsichordist and teacher (1932 - 2005). Goldberg created MusicSources to broaden awareness and appreciation for historically informed performances of western classical music. Gilbert Martinez, Artistic Director of MusicSources since 2005, has further developed the MusicSources vision.
MusicSources is a nonprofit organization (501)(c)(3) devoted to music from the Middle Ages to the Romantic Era (1500 to 1850). MusicSources serves as a local, national, and international base for professionals and promising students.
