Commemorating the 400th anniversary of Giovanni Gabrieli, organist at the great Basilica of St. Mark in Venice, the workshop will focus on his music – both sacred and secular – and that of his teachers and pupils, including Orlandus Lassus, Andrea Gabrieli, Hans Leo Haßler and Heinrich Schütz.
