News 2017: (UK) National Centre for Early Music Newsrelease: "National Centre for Early Music Launches Free Online Directory" (11 Jan 2017)
"The National Centre for Early Music (NCEM) announces the launch of its free online early music artist directory.
The directory contains a comprehensive list of early music artists and ensembles working across the UK. It is presented alphabetically, across specialist periods including: Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and Classical and also by style including: vocal, instrumental, consort and soloist. Each entry includes biographical information, an image and any relevant You Tube video audio soundbites. The directory is easy to navigate and will be an invaluable resource for the early music community, promoters and agents. ...
Delma Tomlin MBE, Director of the NCEM says; "We are very fortunate to attract some of the best early music artists and ensembles in the UK to our festivals, and as such are regularly in contact with performers and their agents. We were finding it increasingly difficult to keep a track of contacts and also to readily find them in one place. This led us to create a resource that will enable existing and new talent to be discovered more easily, and we are delighted to be sharing this with early music enthusiasts online free of charge.”
The NCEM welcomes new additions to the early directory music directory. To be included, please email your details to info@ncem.co.uk
Visit the NCEM Online Directory fo view the directory members.
