The German Clavichord Society (DCS) in September 2010 started a four part festival devoted to J.S. Bach, his sources and his scholars. Close to Lüneburg in Northern Germany where the 15 years old Johann Sebastian was chorister, the first part of this festival was arranged in September 2010 at Bleckede Castle and devoted to the young Bach and his musical sources, namely Buxtehude, Reincken and Böhm.

Our congratulations to Harpsichord Unlimited! Out of more than 4,300 international category entries in WorldFest-Houston's 10 major Remi Award Competitions, Harpsichord Unlimited won a Silver Award (Into the Light) and a Bronze Award (Concertino Cubano). The Remi takes its name from artist Frederick Remington, who captured the spirit of Texas and the West with his paintings and sculptures.

Stefano Montanari returns to Tafelmusik as guest conductor in a programme of exuberant symphonies and overtures by Italian classical composers. Un finale fantastico!

The Tallis Scholars Summer Schools are dedicated to exploring the great heritage of Renaissance choral music and developing a performance style appropriate to it, as pioneered by the Tallis Scholars.

The choir for the recent Royal Wedding included the choir of Westminster Abbey as well as the Queen's Chapel Royal, an institution dating back centuries that has produced some of England's greatest composers and music. On May 14, the Tudor presents ALL THE QUEEN'S MEN, a narrated performance of music composed for the Chapel Royal during the reigns of legendary 16th-century monarchs Mary Tudor and Elizabeth I.
